Floed-Lane House Pollinator Garden

Summer 2020 work: A group of volunteers, led by Cynthia Rockney-Wilson, met at the garden to weed and get ready for the busy planting season. They were pleasantly surprised to find a bumper crop of mushrooms. Luckily, a few of the volunteers were a bit more savvy and recognized the fungus as morel mushrooms.
The group harvested bags of them. The mushrooms grew in the cover crop, in the areas with and without manure. The volunteers are curious to see if mushrooms grow again next year.

Douglas County Historical Society Thanks All Of The Garden Volunteers For Their Hard Work. A Special Thank You Goes To Cynthia For Her Dedication And Determination To Complete The Garden Project.
